The challenge: come up with a name for a new hotel by St. Stephen's Green that would be ‘anything but ordinary’ in a city full of places to stay.
After a deep dive into the history of the local area, I came up with a list of names inspired by characters of the past. We settled on The Wilder – after Oscar Wilde, who was born just around the corner. We then created a story around the name to inspire the hotel’s personality and Slater’s designs.
